We had previously requested many of you to tell us your thoughts on Protection PLUS. We had a gratifying response with carefully thought out suggestions as to how our product line could be improved. We have worked hard and it is about to payoff in the release of three new products:

SoftwareKey is pleased to announce that we are rapidly approaching the release of Instant PLUS 2.0. It has taken us a little longer than we thought, but when you see the added features and the new wizard interface, you will understand why we continued to develop the product.
Instant PLUS is a program that ships with each edition of Protection PLUS. Instant PLUS injects code into your existing .EXE, .SCR, .DLL or .OCX files to protect against decompilers, or other hacking tools that are used to discover information about your application. In addition to the security features, trial features can be added to your application seamlessly.

  2. RegKeyGen Database for Linux
A perfect middle ground between Instant SOLO and SOLO Server, RegKeyGen Database for Linux gives you complete control over Electronic License Activations. Server scripting source code and a sample license database is included to jump start your Electronic License Management .

RegKeyGen Database for Linux Features:

• Runs on any Unix compatible server
• Generates Protection PLUS activation codes compatible with LFEdit
• Can be used in custom unlock key generator or web server
• Includes sample MySQL database
• Sample PHP source code to manage license database
• Users must be authenticated before an activation code is released
• All unlock request activity is logged
• Manages multiple products and distributors

  3. Installer PLUS – A New Addition to SoftwareKey
We have had requests from some of our clients for a way to provide a form of protection for content files. If you produce a map reader for instance, it would be nice to protect the downloadable maps that can be purchased after the customer installs the reader. Instant PLUS is superb in its function, but it only wraps executable files with protection. Now, with Installer PLUS you can wrap your entire package and require an activation code in order to install the program, or, you can protect your content files that provide continuing income, with activation protection.

Your customers must activate the software online, by phone, fax, or email before they are allowed to install it. Once activated and installed your application may also validate the license. This keeps customers from activating, installing the software, and copying the files once installed to another PC.

• Export a list of licenses on an invoice to a csv file. Select the Invoice and choose Export IDs in Excel Format on the page.
• Modify a range of License ID's at the same time. Choose Customers -> Bulk Modify License from the menu.
• Added a search by IP address on the search page.
• Export a mailing list to a csv file. Go to Authors -> Mailing List -> List and click on the Export List link.
• Added a new page that generates ordering URLs. Authors -> Storefront -> Get Ordering URLs

We have many more new features in development. We will send you updates as the features make it into production.
