Can I upgrade from one edition to another?
Yes, you can purchase an upgrade from the Professional to Enterprise or Internet Editions, or from the Enterprise to Internet Editions. All upgrades must be purchased directly from Concept Software. At the same time you upgrade, you will receive one year software maintenance. During your maintenance period, you can download the latest version as well as receive assistance from our email support staff.

What support is included?
Each license of our software comes with software maintenance. During your maintenance period, you can download the latest version as well as receive assistance from our email support staff. This maintenance is renewable at any time, and is optional. Be sure to keep a safe archive of the installation media for the version that you purchased and are using in your software. Only the latest version is kept on our website and only for customers with an active maintenance agreement.
- Professional Edition: 90 days

How difficult is it to implement Protection PLUS?
The learning curve varies for each individual, dependent on several factors. In many cases, Instant PLUS can provide the most common forms of licensing business logic with little or no source code modifications. For more customized implementations, the Protection PLUS SDK can be used within the source code of an application. A software developer has the minimum skill needed for a successful implementation. While most people will simply copy and paste our sample code, understanding the code can help implement our product to its highest potential.

How often do upgrades become available? What is the cost?
There are generally several updates to Protection PLUS components per year with new features, documentation, sample code, and any required fixes. During your maintenance period, you can always download the latest version. Software maintenance may be renewed at any time. A maintenance reinstatement fee may be assessed when coverage lapses more than 60 days.

Does the Internet Edition include everything I need to generate activation codes from my web server?
No. Protection PLUS only includes client components that are shipped with your application. To fully automate the sales and/or product activation of your software, one of the SOLO Server variations must be chosen and implemented.
