Today, as President of NYS Consulting and VP of Sales for Bling Software Ltd., he carries with him an unwavering confidence in presenting Concept Software to clients and colleagues alike.

It is fair to say that Dan Van Hoose really knows the SoftwareKey System and the organization that is Concept Software. During the early years, Dan explained how he watched as Concept Software “grew at an insane pace” driven by customer needs in a rapidly changing business and technological environment. Project after project, client after client, and year after year, Dan witnessed how Concept Software was getting a lot of impressive things done. He says it is because of the “flexibility and creative minds at Concept.” Over the years Dan has researched alternative solutions and given others a chance to sell him on their merits, yet he remains firm that Concept is the only company he’d present to any new client because of the great products and great customer service.
Dan has overseen a myriad of product launches for Bling Software and each time he has unwavering confidence in the licensing and distribution strategy that always has Concept Software at its center. This six year relationship with Bling has proven fruitful for all parties. For example, the following four products distributed by Bling represent approximately 900,000 units per year. Physical copies and downloads are available on each of these products although, it’s the on-the-shelf retail through Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Target that generates the highest sales.

The features in SOLO Server get put to the test for these products. The ability to offer subscriptions makes it easy to capture renewals for DefenderPro and RingFactory and the copy and license protection is critical for PodMaxx and 123 Copy DVD. Additionally the online shopping cart, protection and trials are each important features of SOLO utilized by each of these products.
The icing on the cake for Dan is that Concept Software has stepped in to save the day time and again when they found themselves in a pinch. He quips that his standard opening line when calling Concept Software for help is “Sorry for catching you off guard.” Though the requests for custom reports or custom builds for their own manufacturing errors may pop up unexpected, they are always handled thoroughly and promptly. Substantial problems stemming from third parties were met with creative intelligence to provide fixes and workarounds that would leave minimal to no inconveniences to customers where otherwise there could have been calamity. He summarizes his satisfaction in this way, “Boutique approach, boutique service, you’re not a number and you can’t put a price on that.”
