Protection PLUS - Internet Edition
Licensed to protect all applications published royalty-free
and may be used by multiple developers at the same physical
location. It comes with one year of technical support and product
subscription, providing access to the latest version of the
product. It includes a site license for LFEdit (pronounced L-F-Edit)
to generate software activation codes on multiple computers
at the same physical location. In addition to all of the Enterprise
Edition features, the Internet Edition allows implementation
of sophisticated Internet-based Electronic License Management
(ELM) features to administer your application running in the
field. It includes the Automation
Client which is used to automate communication between your
web server and your application. Web server software, such as SOLO Lite or SOLO Server, is
available at an additional cost.
Protection PLUS Automation Client for Internet Edition
Part of the Internet Edition of Protection PLUS, the Automation
Client is a library called from your application
to automate many of the software licensing tasks performed
by a software publisher. It enables your
application to directly communicate with your web server
or SoftwareKey
SOLO to implement Electronic
License Activation (ELA) and Electronic
License Management (ELM) technologies.
