Frogware Software helps the chaos of planning with Wedding Magic amd Room Magic software

Frogware LLC , a small software company specializing in event management software, was in search of a way to protect our products from piracy in order to increase revenue. We determined that developing our own system would be too costly, so we began evaluating tools to help solve our problem. We needed a product that would allow us to lock our product demos after 30 days, allow us to easily extend a demo for a user, control how many licenses were available to users, and allow users to easily turn their demo copy of our program into a licensed version. The product needed to be flexible and customizable, so that a simple interface could be generated to allow users to purchase and license their software.

In November 1998, we began to evaluate products that could help us obtain our goal of protecting our products from piracy in order to increase revenue. Most were found to be extremely cumbersome and rigid. Getting support for most products regarding technical questions was not always easy. Concept Software, on the other hand, was the exception. The technical support was, and still is, exceptional, and after a couple of days, a prototype interface was created. The flexibility and the extensiveness of the API allowed us to encapsulate the functionality that was required to protect our software into a class that is now easily implemented in all of our products.

The success has been phenomenal. Our first order through Concept Software's Protection PLUS and Instant SOLO was November 15, 1998, and it has performed exceptionally ever since. As we grew, so did our needs as far as the features that SOLO server provided. To our pleasure, Concept Software listened! They quickly implemented new features that we requested. The product has really matured since it was first implemented in our first product, Wedding Magic. Before using Protection PLUS and Instant SOLO Server, orders were manually processed via a credit card machine, and customer orders were manually entered into a customer tracking system. All of that is now history, and all of our customer and order information is now in one centralized location. As we have grown Concept Software has continued to add features such as being able to automatically e-mail customers who are trying one of our software demos and the ability to implement an affiliate program, our business continues to grow. We have and will continue to recommend to anyone who is looking to protect their software from piracy and increase their revenues, to use Concept Software's Protection PLUS and Instant SOLO.
