Downloading updates
Updates may be downloaded from the Customer Service Center .
To download, log-in to the Customer Service Center, and find your original order for SOLO Lite in your order history. Note the License ID for the original order, which you may need for activation. Click the "Download" link to the right of this item in the order history.
System Requirements
This section describes the system requirements of the SOLO Lite.
Windows Version
Windows 2000 Server or later
Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0 or later
CDOSYS (see Microsoft knowledge base article 171440 )
If installing on a remote server hosted by an ISP, either you need to have remote access (i.e. Remote Desktop) to the server or the ISP must be willing to install and activate SOLO Lite for you.

Linux Version
System using Linux 2.6 Kernel (BSD variants with ELF support work as well)
Apache Web Server
PHP 4.3 or later and the Apache PHP module (mod_php)
MySQL 4.1 or higher and the PHP plug-in for MySQL support
The ability to run regular upload binary/executable files and run them from PHP scripts
Though shell access is not required, having it can be helpful for troubleshooting.

This section contains details on the incremental changes included with each new release of SOLO Lite.
SOLO Lite 1.23
Windows Version
Updated libraries to prevent potential hardware Data Execution Prevention (DEP) issues.
Updated Release Notes format.
Corrected text field maximum lengths on manage products screen.
Updated license_return.asp to be a little more efficient and updated it so it adds an exception to mark the previous activation as returned.
Linux Version
Corrected text field maximum lengths on manage products screen.
Corrected usage output for nencrypt.bin
SOLO Lite 1.22
Windows Version
Added Computer ID threshold support for unlocking.
Updated TrgLib32.dll.
Linux Version
Updated design to match the Classic ASP version of SOLO Lite.
Added Instant PLUS synchronization support.
Added Fixed Value and Computer ID threshold support for activations.
Corrected licensebulkadd.php to initialize a new license's status to 'OK', and updated getcode.php so only licenses with a status of 'OK' may be activated.
SOLO Lite 1.21
Windows Version
Improved the installation instructions on the PHP version of SOLO Lite
Updated the documentation to include installation instructions for the PHP version of SOLO Lite
Added the PHP version of SOLO Lite to the Windows installer
Updated libraries to prevent Data Execution Prevention (DEP) issues.
Linux Version
Added function to simulate the register_globals option in the php.ini file so editing this file is no longer required for PHP 5 users.
Vastly improved the installation notes (this file) since the 1.19 release
Updated the CGI binaries to no longer depend on C++ libraries (they only use the C libraries now, which are linked in statically and avoids the potential for dependency issues).
Added workaround to help support of versions of PHP earlier than 4.1
We previously shipped PHP 4 and PHP 5 versions separately, but these have since been consolidated.
SOLO Lite 1.20
Windows Version
Added support for Instant PLUS synchronization
Updated look and feel to more closely match the more recent look and feel of SOLO Server / Instant SOLO
Added SWKeySrvNET.dll to installation (the file is installed to the SWKey\SrvComp directory, and is not registered in the Global Assembly Cache).
Updated the manual to omit information on ICVCharge/ICVerify
Updated the installer to include the latest Protection PLUS manual
