pp_lfclose()

Closes the License File and any aliases

Applies to:

Win32, Win64

Syntax-VB:

Declare Function pp_lfclose(ByVal handle As Long) As Long

Syntax-C:

LONG pp_lfclose(PPLFHANDLE handle)

Arguments:

<handle> is the handle to the License File given by pp_lfopen()

Returns:

Refer to pp_errorstr() for a table of possible return codes and their meaning. Typically, PP_SUCCESS [1] (file was closed) is returned.

Description:

Releases internal memory allocated by the pp_lfopen() function. Also closes any aliases of the file referenced by <handle> which were opened with pp_lfalias().

The handle used by this function is not to be confused with a file handle that implies that the License File is kept in the open state.

CAUTION
This function MUST be called in order for all PLUS memory allocation to be released.

Example:

' The variable lfhandle was initialized earlier with

' pp_lfopen()

Dim result As Long

result = pp_lfclose(lfhandle) ' close the handle
