PP_NDECRYPT()

Decrypts a number given a seed number

Applies to:

Win32, Win64

Syntax-VB:

Declare Function pp_ndecrypt(ByVal number As Long, ByVal seed As Long) As Long

Syntax-C:

LONG pp_ndecrypt(LONG number, LONG seed)

Arguments:

<number> is the number to be decrypted

<seed> is the seed number used when the number was encrypted, between 0 and 255

Returns:

A value representing the decrypted number. -1 is returned if an invalid encrypted number is passed. Any <seed> passed greater than 255 will be truncated automatically to the first hexadecimal byte of the number. This is handy when the computer ID number algorithm is used as the seed. This makes each installation of your application use a different seed for encrypting numbers.

Description:

Used to decrypt a number that was previously encrypted with pp_nencrypt(). Refer to pp_nencrypt() for typical usage.

This function is generally used to decrypt a Trigger Code Event Data.
