AutoCrypt SL adds the following command line switches to protected applications.
/DEACTIVATE
Protected applications can be called with the /DEACTIVATE command line switch to
attempt to deactivate the installation on SOLO Server Automation. If successful,
the local license file is deactivated. This allows a user to essentially
"transfer" a license by voluntarily returning an activation
to the License ID in SOLO Server Automation, which they can then use to activate another
machine.
Note that this doesn't prompt a message to the user, which makes it useful for adding to your uninstaller.
Protected applications can be called with the /OPENLF command line switch to change
the necessary permissions of all License Files and Aliases. Your installer
can copy over your application to the target system and immediately call
it with the /OPENLF command line parameter to set the permissions and
exit.
Important
Note, this is required to avoid permissions
issues with non-admin users. This is described in more detail in the Deploying Protected Applications topic.
