Yes, for eCommerce transactions, you must supply a merchant account. All credit card charges are processed through your merchant account when a customer purchases online. The money is deposited directly into your bank account and you can negotiate discounted credit card processing fees with your bank. Are there any restrictions on the test Instant SOLO Server accounts?
Some uploading to the server is disabled, and only test licenses can be added to the database. Test licenses are not billable and are removed automatically at the end of the month.
