Protection PLUS 188.8.131.52 has been released with a new Unity package, support for ARM64, and various documentation updates!
Unity Package and Sample
Unity is a real-time 3D development engine which supports the use of .NET libraries that adhere to the .NET Standard 2.0 specification. Applications built in Unity are increasingly being used in fields such as the automotive industry, manufacturing, architecture, engineering and construction.
SoftwareKey's PLUSManaged for .NET Standard library is compatible with Unity, and we are pleased to now include a Unity package with our sample applications in Protection PLUS 5 SDK .NET Edition. This will help you get started in implementing SoftwareKey's license management and copy protection for Unity applications. The included sample can also perform common licensing tasks such as online license activations, refreshes, and deactivations through SOLO Server Automation.
A sample Unity scene is included, as well as a prefab that you can drop into an existing project. See our PLUSManaged Unity Sample topic for more details!
ARM 64 Support
Are you developing for the ARM architecture? Then we have exciting news for you! SoftwareKey has created a new library for ARM 64-bit applications! The library was created on Linux Ubuntu for ARM64 (aarch64) on a Raspberry PI 4. The Protection PLUS 5 SDK for ARM Edition now includes both libraries for ARM 32-bit and ARM 64-bit.
With this release, we have continued to add useful documentation to our manual. This includes instructions on how to add manual license refreshing and deactivations for your offline customers. We have also added instructions on using a Serial Number and the Product ID to perform a manual activation to go along with the previous instructions on performing this type of activation online.
Protection PLUS 5 SDK provides the robust functionality you need to license your software, so make sure you are taking advantage of the features that are well suited for your needs!
