During the early years, Dan explained how he watched as Concept Software "grew at an insane pace" driven by customer needs in a rapidly changing business and technological environment. The icing on the cake for Dan is that Concept Software has stepped in to save the day time and again when they found themselves in a pinch. He quips that his standard opening line when calling Concept Software for help is "Sorry for catching you off guard." Though the requests for custom reports or custom builds for their own manufacturing errors may pop up unexpected, they are always handled thoroughly and promptly. Substantial problems stemming from third parties were met with creative intelligence to provide fixes and workarounds that would leave minimal to no inconveniences to customers where otherwise there could have been calamity. He summarizes his satisfaction in this way, "Boutique approach, boutique service, you're not a number and you can't put a price on that."
